Apple’s next iPhone won’t include a charger or headphones, top analyst predicts

If you are planning to buy an iPhone 12 from Apple’s upcoming launch, be prepared for a shock. The next iPhone may exclude two of the most valuable accessories in the box: a power adapter and wired headphones.

Kuo’s Analysis Reported

Apple’s most trusted analyst, Kuo reported in a new research note that Apple is likely to offer its 5G compatible flagship iPhone 12 at around the same price as that of the current iPhone 11 lineup. The additional cost for 5G support is balanced out by nixing these accessories.

The next generation of mobile communication technology 5G is expected to enable high speed and rate of data transfer, contacts management and transfer and wireless connectivity options. Apple is drooling over it with the launch of the new iPhone 12.

Apple declined to comment in any way. However, this move could possibly slim Apple’s products to a more affordable range with an eco- friendly design.

Kuo also says that Apple will reportedly release a new 20W charger that will be sold independently as an optional product. This charger would be bigger than the 5W and 18W power adapters that are currently sold with Apple’s iPhones. There is no statement made on the presence of a lightning port.

This bold decision, on one hand, is appreciated by the loyal iPhone users as they do not have to pay for the same pile of accessories they previously own, with iPhone 12. On the other hand, it could face a pushback from the tech journalist fraternity.

Apple is likely equipping to launch a new iPhone in the fall, since the company has propelled new iPhones in September or October consistently since 2011. In many years, an effective dispatch of the new devices, which represent over half a portion of Apple’s revenue.

Kuo’s analysis focuses on organizations that sell parts and assembly services to Apple, and he has effectively anticipated unreleased Apple products previously. So, we have no other reason, but to believe.
