Samsung unveiling Galaxy S21 on 14th of January
According to employees of Samsung’s store in India and then confirmed by the company itself, Samsung Galaxy is launching globally on 14th of January. It shows the next Samsung venture is just around the corner and we are all set for the launch. The new Galaxy is set to hit the shelves by 29th of the same month. As Android Authority stated, many stores in India have also started advance ordering for the customers.
What to expect
The exact price of the device is yet to be released, however, the stores in India are asking for a $30 deposit. The device will support file transfer apps to shift from old device to new device.
Color
The consumers can choose the model and the specs, color, memory, and others, later. According to the store, S21 is coming in gray, pink, purple, and white colors, S21 plus in pink, purple, silver, and black, and S21 in black and silver only.
Camera
Both S21 and S21 plus come with three cameras- a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide and a 64MP telephoto with 3x zoom. However, S21 ultra comes with 4 cameras that include 108MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x telephoto and 10MP 10x telephoto.
Display
The display is also the same for S21 and S21 plus but different for S21 ultra. The former handsets will have 120Hz refresh rate embedded in their FHD panels. A difference between both these devices is the panel measurement that is 6.2 inches for S21 and 6.7” for S21 plus. S21 is larger than both of these measuring 6.8 inches. The device offers higher resolution than the other two as well and has a QHD panel. It uses LPTO technology to give out an adaptive refresh rate that goes upto 120 Hz.
Conclusion
Samsung changed the launch dates this year from February. We think that the company is targeting CES event owned by the Consumer Technology Association which is happening from 11th to 14th January. This might be due to the moving of Mobile World Congress trade show to June this year. We and many other consumers are very excited by this early launch and are lined up for this.
